Magazine cover photography

For the ancillary task we were asked to make a magazine cover with our film as the main feature. I decided that as the main image for the magazine cover I was going to have Damian Hall in a particular pose/position. I thought that this would be appropriate because Damian is the main character in my film.

I think that this photograph is an effective one because it is well lit so it makes it look like everything is normal which is the feeling we try to achieve at the begginging of the finished film.

Any Video Converter

When we had done our filming, we then uploaded it to the computer using the USB cable. Once it had been put onto the school computer we realised that it was in the wrong file format and that it had to be converted. There is a program on the school's system call Any Video Converter and on this you can convert a file into any other file format. We had to change it from a VLC Media File (.mp3) to SWF Flash format. We had to do this in order to get it onto the Flash Elements program so we could edit our footage.
