Practise photgraphy

In the portfolio, we are expected to ancillary tasks and for my trailer I need to include the front page of a magazine whereby my film is the main feature and a film poster for my magazine. For both of these I need to have photos to use so I decided to do a number of practice shots and that way and I can have a better idea of the sort of shot I wanted to use. It also meant I could experiment with lighting and the different backgrounds that would benefit the other features of my front page/poster.
This is clearly not a well taken image and therefore I took more shots.

This shot is slightly more appropriate but the facial expressions were not what I was aiming for.

This is the shot I am going to use for my poster because it adds the feeling that Damian is scared.

This is the shot I am going to use for my magazine cover because I like the lighting and the background is affective in making it look rural.

These are some of the shots I used and in the ones with the green background I used something called a green screen which makes it easier to crop of edit the image. I am going to give it a light background so that Damian is actually the main feature of the image. I think that this will add to the affect of fear in the image I choose to use because it means you will concentrate on the expression used.
